PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds just set an all-time player count record on Steam

 

A couple of weeks ago, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds hit a milestone: it overtook Dota 2 for the most players playing at the same time on Steam. Yesterday, the game broke another record: the highest peak player count on the system — ever. The game’s official Twitter account made the announcement, saying that it had 1,342,857 players online at the same time, beating out Dota 2 for the honor. Highest peak player count on @steam_games!
