Ingredients for Gajar ka halwa
- Carrot 1 kg
- Sugar 250 grams
- Mawa 250 grams
- Milk 1 cup
- Native Ghee one tablespoon
- Kashmush one tablespoon
- Cashew nut 15 grams
- Small cardamom 6-7 pcs
How to make Gajar ka halwa
Now put ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan to heat. When ghee gets hot, add grated carrot.
Now the process of driving carrots will begin. Carrot pudding has to be stirred till the end.
Turn the heat on high and keep stirring the carrots for about five minutes. When the carrot water dries almost to high heat, slow it down.
After about ten minutes you notice that the carrot has become thicker. Not only this, but the color of carrots has also started appearing in the pan. This means that the carrot has now fully softened. Now add milk to the carrot pudding. Carrot pudding has an equal quantity of milk and carrot. One kilo of milk in one kilo of carrots.
After adding milk, once again increase the flame of gas.
The responsibility of running it has increased with increasing the flame of gas.
Scrape the dried milk sticking to the sides of the pan, with a spatula in between.
After running for about 15 minutes, the milk will completely mix with the carrots. Now you will not see milk separately.
Now add sugar to the carrot halwa. Keep it running once again.
When the carrot pudding dries up and it starts to smell, then grind cardamom and add it.
When this ghee starts leaving, then understand that it is fully cooked.
Remove the carrot pudding from the heat. Add chopped nuts to it and mix. You can also decorate some fruits above.
