Captain America: Civil War is a 2016 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

It is the sequel to 2011’s The First Avenger and 2014’s The Winter Soldier, and the thirteenth film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

The Movie world premiere held in Los Angeles on April 12, 2016, and was released in the United States on May 6, 2016, in 3D and IMAX 3D.

The film became a critical and commercial success, grossing over $1.1 billion worldwide, making it the highest-grossing film of 2016 and the 12th highest-grossing film of all time.
